Zoomdata is Justin's 5th startup--he previously founded Strategy.com, Claraview, Clarabridge, and Augaroo. Justin is an expert in big data, business intelligence, text analytics, sentiment analytics, and real-time data processing. He graduated from MIT with a degree in Management of Information Technology, and holds 14 patents. He is eagerly awaiting the singularity to increase his personal I/O rate which is currently frustratingly pegged at about 300 baud.
Bob joins us with an extensive leadership background at technology companies. Prior to joining Zoomdata, Bob was the CFO at Parature, where he was integral in the acquisition by Microsoft. He loves helping to grow technology companies; managing the business model and all aspects of the business operations. Bob is a Penn State graduate, is an avid sports fan and loves watching his kids participate in their activities.
Ruhollah is responsible for the Zoomdata technology stack and Zoomdata labs. He has over 13 years of experience in applying advanced architecture and design methods to help organizations turn data into actionable intelligence for decision making. He brings forward his deep expertise in Big Data, Data Science, Data Analytics, Information Extraction, Data Architecture, and Data Management from years of consulting with BearingPoint, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Unisys. At Booz Allen and Unisys, he led teams across multiple engagements and business domains to bring bleeding edge and emerging technology to the enterprise. He is a recognized thought leader with proven comprehensive knowledge across multiple fields including software engineering, systems architecture and design, data management, knowledge management, and project management.
Nick Halsey is the Chief Marketing Officer of Zoomdata. Nick was previously chief marketing officer at Keynote Systems and SugarCRM. Prior to that he held vice president executive roles at Jaspersoft, Alphablox, Brio and Apple Computer. He is the co-founder of Biz360 and holds a BA in Political Science from Stanford University.
Tom leads the Zoomdata sales team and brings over 20 years of Business Intelligence and Big Data Analytics experience, with a focus on early to mid-stage disruptive technology companies. Earlier in his career, Tom held sales leadership roles at Microstrategy, where he helped the compay grow revenue from $10m to $500m and re-define the enterprise BI market. More recently, Tom served as VP of Sales for ParAccel, and SVP of Global Sales at Actian, where he led the direct sales, SE, channels and analytic team for the Big Data division. Tom recieved an MBA in International Business from George Washington University.
Mike is Zoomdata’s VP of Product, and is responsible for product strategy and execution, leading product management and UX. He is an accomplished product leader with over 15 years Silicon Valley experience and a diverse background ranging from big data infrastructure and SaaS applications to real-time trading software.
Prior to Zoomdata, Mike led product management at Marketo, Terracotta, and CA Wily. He also has had extensive software product leadership experience at both Reuters and Boeing. Mike holds a BSc in Computer Science from University College London.
Throughout his career, Russ has been focused on developing solutions that leverage technology to solve business problems. While working at companies such as EDS, Brainbench, and Clarabridge, he has utilized his sales, marketing and technical skills in the development of mission critical systems for the DoD, automated recruitment & selection programs for the intelligence community and the application of text analytics for commercial VOC programs. Russ in an avid hockey player and a big fan of his children's synchronized skating and travel hockey programs.
Matt leads Zoomdata's Customer Solutions Team. He is a technical and business leader with more than 15 years of professional experience working with customers and leading teams of software and data engineers to further law enforcement, national intelligence, and health. Matt's technical areas of expertise include distributed systems, data visualization, predictive analysis, and information sharing.
Robyn Forman is the VP of Digital Marketing at Zoomdata. She was previously the VP of Global Marketing at Searchmetrics, a leading enterprise search and content platform company, and has held VP of Marketing positions at SugarCRM and Engine140. She has founded two successful marketing consulting firms, PipelineDemand and Red Apple Marketing. Robyn holds a B.A. degree in English literature from Framingham State College and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.
Ravi leads the Sales Engineering team at Zoomdata and brings extensive experience building high performance pre-sales teams and process for Big Data Analytics and Business Intelligence software companies. Most recently, Ravi served as the VP of Global Sales Engineering at Actian where he built led SE teams across various geographies & business lines. Prior to that, Ravi built and led the Sales Engineering team at ParAccel, which was acquired by Actian. Earlier in his career, Ravi led Sales Engineering and Professional Services teams for MicroStrategy, Actuate, and Blue Martini and spent his formative years at Price Waterhouse consulting on a variety of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence projects. Ravi is a Loyola University graduate, lives in Chicago with his wife and 2 kids, and enjoys traveling.
Anurag executes on Product Roadmap and Strategy at Zoomdata. He is a long time veteran of the Big Data, Analytics and Business Intelligence industry having spent more than 15 years in product, technical and customer-facing roles. Most recently, Anurag was the Director of Product Management for MicroStrategy focusing on Big Data and In-Memory technologies. Prior to that, he worked on Mobile applications, high performance solutions and also spent numerous years in the field helping Fortune 1000 clients build business analytics solutions. Anurag has a Bachelors and Masters in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Bombay and University of Maryland, College Park respectively, and an MBA from University of Michigan.
Matthew is an award-winning UX designer, executive, and teacher. As a UX and product designer, his focus has been on making data easy to use. His work has been showcased by Apple, and he has lectured at NASA on the topic of massively-parallel problem solving systems. He has worked with clients such as CNN, Morgan Stanley, Sesame Workshop, and Thomson Reuters. Matthew teaches product design at Columbia University, where he is also a member of the Financial Risk Analytics & Regulations Lab.
