Zoomdata Version

Managing Teradata Connectors

The Teradata connector allows you to visualize data stored in Teradata databases. Zoomdata supports versions 13.1- 15.1. By default, Teradata is not included with Zoomdata. Before you can establish a connection from Zoomdata to Teradata, a Teradata connector server needs to be installed, configured and enabled.

The Teradata connector requires a JDBC driver to be configured before you can connect to your data source. You can download the driver from the vendor's site. If you are upgrading, keep in mind you need to configure the JDBC driver - see Upgrading Zoomdata Server to v2.6 for instructions. For more information and steps, see Adding a JDBC Driver .

What does teradata support?

Starting with version 2.3, Zoomdata's architecture has been enhanced to enable the deployment of new connectors as standalone components running in their own process space. To learn more and access the setup instructions, refer to the article Configuring a New Connector Manually .
