Exporting a Chart or Dashboard

You can export your charts or dashboards in a variety of formats. Exports enable you to share your data with others or in the case of the JSON configuration export, to transfer a chart or dashboard to another Zoomdata environment.

When exporting, be aware that the special characters are not supported. If your visualization name or the name of the data source contains special characters, you need to update the name before continuing.

Charts can be exported in the following formats:

  • PNG Screenshot (as an image)
  • PDF file (as an image)
  • Raw data table (as a CSV file)
  • Aggregate chart data (as a CSV file)
  • JSON configuration (for the chart)

Dashboards can be exported in the following formats:

  • PNG Screenshot (as an image)
  • PDF file (as an image)
  • JSON configuration (for the whole dashboard)
