Deleting Custom Metrics

You can delete custom metrics from a data source using the data source configuration wizard or using the Metric or Filters sidebar on a dashboard.

To delete custom metrics from a data source while editing the data source configuration:

  1. Click the gear icon () at the top of the Zoomdata user interface (UI).
  2. Select Sources to access your list of data sources.
  3. Select (double-click) the data source for which you want to apply or change a custom metric.
  4. Select the Fields tab.
  5. Scroll to the Calculations table at the bottom of the Fields tab.
  6. Locate the custom metric in the Calculations table that you would like to remove.
  7. Click the delete icon () in the Delete column.
  8. Click Delete in the pop-up confirmation dialog.

To delete custom metrics from a data source using the Metric selection sidebar:

  1. On a chart, click the metric label (y-axis label) to view the Metric selection sidebar.

  2. Locate a custom metric listed on the Metric selection sidebar and click the ellipsis () next to it. The following menu appears:

  3. Select Remove on the menu to delete the custom metric.

  4. Be sure to save the dashboard after deleting the custom metric. If you close the dashboard without saving, your custom metric will not be deleted.

To delete custom metrics from a data source using the Filters sidebar:

  1. Click the filter icon () to access the Filters sidebar for a chart or dashboard.

  2. Click on the Filters sidebar.

  3. Locate a custom metric listed on the Filters sidebar and click the ellipsis () next to it. The following menu appears:

  4. Select Remove on the menu to delete the custom metric.

  5. Be sure to save the dashboard after deleting the custom metric. If you close the dashboard without saving, your custom metric will not be deleted.
