Restarting Zoomdata Services

This topic describes how to restart Zoomdata services. Select your operating environment below for additional information:

You can also restart Zoomdata services using the CLI. See Managing Zoomdata Services Using the Command Line Utility.

CentOS v6 or Ubuntu v14 Environments

To restart all Zoomdata services, enter the following command:

ls /etc/init.d/zoomdata* | xargs -n1 basename | xargs -I % sudo service % restart

To restart a specific Zoomdata service, enter the following command:

sudo service <service> restart

Replace <service> with the name of the Zoomdata service. See Zoomdata Service Name Reference.

CentOS v7 or Ubuntu v16 Environments

To restart all Zoomdata services, enter the following command:

sudo systemctl restart $(systemctl list-unit-files | grep zoomdata | awk '{print $1}')

To restart a specific Zoomdata service, enter the following command:

sudo systemctl restart <service>

Replace <service> with the name of the Zoomdata service. See Zoomdata Service Name Reference.
