Multiple Metric Line Chart

Multiple metric lines charts are based on multiple metrics and one time attribute. They are supported by all the data sources except Cloudera Search, and by Solr v5.2 and higher.

To configure the default chart settings for a data source:

  1. Edit the appropriate data source configuration. See Editing a Data Source Configuration.

  2. Select the Charts tab in the data source configuration wizard.

  3. On the Standard subtab of the Charts tab, select Line Trend: Multiple Metrics.

  4. Configure the settings as follows:

    Setting Description
Trend Attribute Select the time attribute and the default granularity (for example, minute, hour, day, and so on).
Trend Attribute Limit Specify the number of time attribute items.
Trend Attribute Sort Select the tine attribute for sorting and the sorting order for your time attribute (chronological or reverse chronological).
