Deleting Data Store Connections
|A data store connection cannot be deleted if it is used by any data source configuration. You must first remove it from the data source configurations before you can delete it.|
To delete a validated data store connection:
Make sure you are logged into Zoomdata as an administrator or as a user with the group privilege Can Manage Connections.
Select (Settings) and then select Sources. The Data Sources page appears.
Click . This button is not available if you are not logged into Zoomdata as an administrator or as a user with the group privilege Can Manage Connections.
The Connections page appears. It lists the data store connections you have defined and identifies how many data source configurations each connection uses.
Select the data store connection you want to delete on the left side of the Connections page. Details about the connection appear on the right side of the Connections page. If there are any data source configurations using the connection definition, they appear on the Data Sources tab. (If you click on a data source configuration on the Data Sources tab, the data configuration wizard starts for the selected configuration and you can change the data store connection used by that configuration.)
When the Data Sources tab is empty (it lists no data source configurations), click the button in the upper right corner of the Connections page and then confirm the deletion by clicking in the upper right corner:
The connection is deleted.
Click at the top of the page to return to the Data Sources page.
