Starting Zoomdata Microservices

Select your server's operating system for the appropriate command to start all Zoomdata microservices:

The list of Zoomdata microservices can be found in Zoomdata Microservice Name Reference. The order in which microservices should be started is described in Zoomdata Microservice Startup Order.

You can also start Zoomdata microservices using the CLI. See Managing Zoomdata Microservices Using the Command Line Utility.

CentOS v6/ Ubuntu v14

To start all Zoomdata microservices, enter the following command:

ls /etc/init.d/zoomdata* | xargs -n1 basename | xargs -I % sudo service % start

To start a specific Zoomdata microservice, enter the following command:

sudo service <service> start

Replace <service> with the name of the Zoomdata microservice. See Zoomdata Microservice Name Reference.

CentOS v7/ Ubuntu v16

To start all Zoomdata microservices, enter the following command:

sudo systemctl start $(systemctl list-unit-files | grep zoomdata | awk '{print $1}')

To start a specific Zoomdata microservice, enter the following command:

sudo systemctl start <service>

Replace <service> with the name of the Zoomdata microservice. See Zoomdata Microservice Name Reference.
